The State of Indonesian Cities 2017: Transformation Towards Livable Cities

The state of Indonesian Cities 2017 brought up the recent discourse of urban development in Indonesia, varies from physical environment, demography, social and culture, economy, infrastructure, and governance aspects.We select the title Transformation towards livable cities in order to discuss various initiative of Indonesian cities in improving the quantity and quality of urban services. Beside urban livability is our national development target in the short term, it has also strong relevance to the SDG 11 and New Urban Agenda (NUA).
