International Seminar on Post Disaster Reconstruction: Assistance to Local Governments and Communities Vol 2 Proceeding :Long Term Planning for Post Disaster Recovery & Integrated Rehabilitation

URDI is an independent, not-for-profit institution that was established in 1995. URDI's scope pf work is multi sectoral (social, economic, environment and institution) and aims at contributing to the realization of a more sustainable urban and regional development through modes of communication, research, and training and in collaboration with multi-stakeholders (government, private sector and community).rnrnFocussing on the enhancement of sustainable development, URDI felt compelled to organize a seminar on assistance to local government and communities in their effort in creating a long termm recovery process which result in sustainable development of the area. The seminar was held in Yogyakarta, 8-10 July 2007, attended by participants coming from various institutions in indonesia as well as other countries.
