GeoGuide 2 Site Investigation of Soft Soils Design & Fieldwork

This manual contains geotechnical and construction guidelines suitable for soft soil conditions and tropical residual soils in Indonesia. This document is part of the research framework on road construction over soft soils, which began in early 1998. The manual has been prepared with the aim of enhancing geotechnical research capabilities at the Research and Development Center for Transport Infrastructure. This program is funded by a loan from the Government of Indonesia through the Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the Highway Sector Investment Programme 2, Loan Number 3712-IND. It is expected that this manual will receive feedback to further improve and expand the guidelines in the future, as was done with the first edition of the geotechnical manual.
