A Warmer World – The Greenhouse Effect and Climate Change

A Warmer World – The Greenhouse Effect and Climate Change was published in April 2003 by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the Swedish Regional Climate Modelling Programme (SWECLIM). This book summarizes present-day knowledge about the causes of climatic changes and the consequences of such changes for society and the natural environment. Also presented here are recent SWECLIM calculations of how the European climate could change over the next hundred years. Other themes in the book include conceivable changes of the climatic system in the longer term, and various possibilities to reduce human influences on the climate.
