A Text Book on Highway Engineering and Airports

A special chapter on Low-Cost Roads including Stabilized Soil Roads has been introduced in the book. This adequately deals with the present requirements of the under-developed countries in the ECAFE region inasmuch as the construction of roads at appreciably low cost is concerned. Recommendations of the Technical Committee of ECAFE have been compared with the current practices in India as also elswhere in other countries.
